Wintereenmas in July Registration Info – July 20 and 21

Here’s a re-cap of rules and games that you may want to install as the event date closes:

What do I need to bring?

  • Bring a chair – we do have chairs available, but they are not comfortable for a gaming marathon!
  • Your computer or gaming system
  • Power bar or UPS system
  • Headsets are required.
  • You may want to lock your PC w/password or lock laptops w/Kensington lock if so desired
  • Any food or drinks you wish to bring
  • While alcohol is not banned, we expect you to be mature and a responsible driver. We reserve the right to eject anyone who becomes intoxicated.
  • Pre-Install as many games as you can. We will have backups you can restore from, but it’s best if you have already have them installed!
  • We will be providing wired connections to the network and internet. Patch cords will be at each station for your use. Please make sure your torrent systems are shut down while connected to the gaming network.

For those of you who are wondering what games to make sure your system is loaded with, here is a list that have been played in the past:

No one is required to have these games. If you want to do your own thing and play something else, please do! We only ask that if you are going to play any of these games that you have as many of them loaded onto your game system a possible to avoid bogging down our internet and network connection.

    “Headsets are preferred, if possible.”
Please change to: “Headsets are mandatory.”

The event gets loud with 30+ people in the room, add a dozen different games on top of that and the noise gets terrible.

If you’re hauling a computer or laptop down it isn’t that hard to bring a headset.
