Elder Scrolls Announces Celebrity Voice-over Cast

Bethesda Softworks announced January 23 that they had some pretty big celebrities working on the voice overs for the Elder Scrolls Online game. The cast includes some Academy Award nominees, and Golden globe nominees and winners.

Here’s a full list:


  • John Cleese – Cadwell, the cheerful and endearingly mad lost soul who is not afraid of anyone.
  • Bill Nighy – High King Emeric, a merchant prince whose determination won him the throne.
  • Kate Beckinsale – Queen Ayrenn, leader of the Aldmeri Dominion and Queen of the High Elves.
  • Alfred Molina – Abnur Tharn, a wily old wizard who is the head of the Empire’s Elder Council.
  • Lynda Carter – Azura, the Daedric Princess from Skyrim who is a popular part of the lore.
  • Michael Gambon – The Prophet, a blind man who guides the player through their journey.
  • Malcolm McDowell – Molag Bal, a Daedric god who schemes to enslave the mortals of Tamriel.

The Elder Scrolls Online is due out on April 4, 2014.
