    Last Minutes Stuff!

Whew. We’ve got a couple minutes before it gets all crazy again with finalizing set up and opening the doors for the hordes of gamers! Just a few last minute bits of info: The weather seems to be cooperating with us. It looks like it’s going to be nice all weekend! Make sure you bring a headset. Speakers will not be allowed as it gets way too noisy otherwise! We will have chairs there, but you can bring your own if you want. Make sure to turn off all torrent and file sharing software when you are connected to the event network. Have fun! Hope to see you there!

    Better Late than Never…

We always acknowledge our sponsors, but this one was a long time coming. Due to schedule conflicts we have been unable to present our Certificate of Acknowledgment to EB Games in the Town’n’ Country Mall before now. EB Games provided us with some great prizes for the January 2013 Wintereenmas celebration. Through their generosity and support, we were able to make a good event into a great one! Thank you!

    And That’s a Wrap!

Back in May, there was the question: “Will there be a summer event?” We hadn’t even thought about it. Most people are away for the summer, on vacation, or at the lake enjoying the sun. But we thought: What the heck! Before we knew it we had 25 gamers all set to go! The Moose Jaw Gamer’s Association would like to thank all the people who came out to this weekend’s event. It’s people like you who made it possible for us to donate an Apple iPad to the Pediatric Unit at the Moose Jaw Hospital. The event was a screaming success, and we hope that you all enjoyed it as…

    Moose Jaw Gamer’s Association Donation

Our summer event is rolling along and everyone is having a blast. We’ve got great summer weather, and the laughs are continuous! An additional goal of the Association is to provide charitable donations to children’s charities. This year we have focused on the Moose Jaw Union Hospital Children’s Ward. With the funds gathered during the January event, we were able to purchase a new iPad which was presented to Kelly McElree, Moose Jaw Health Foundation Executive Director. He showed up at the event, and sat with us for a while to talk about gaming! We thank Kelly for coming out, and hope to see him at our January 2014 Wintereenmas…
